Patti MacJennett

SVP, Business Affairs, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board

 

As SVP of Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (LATCB), Patti MacJennett develops and implements the organization's community engagement strategy with local, state and federal organizations and serves as liaison with key policymakers, civic and business organizations. Previously she was SVP of the Global Marketing Division and head of the International Marketing Department, and was responsible for opening LA's first international marketing offices including China.

MacJennett’s career included experience in hotel sales and trade association education before joining the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau as head of their tourism division. She was also a managing partner of an international tour wholesale firm specializing in inbound travel to California prior to contracting with the United States Department of Commerce in London.

MacJennett serves as an executive board member of CalTravel and has served in volunteer leadership capacities with U.S. Travel and Visit California. She also sits on the boards of International Visitors Council of Los Angeles, Valley Economic Alliance, and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

A native of California, MacJennett is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program with a BA from Arizona State University.
