Libby Boyce, L.C.S.W.,

Director of Access, Referrals and Engagement

Housing for Health, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS)

 

Libby Boyce is the Deputy Director of the Housing for Health Program (HFH) within the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS).  In her role, she directs the Los Angeles county’s coordinated street-based engagement, interim housing, and the enriched residential care programs. 

 

Prior to her current position, Boyce was the homeless coordinator for the Los Angeles County Chief Executive Office.  In this role, she advised the board of supervisors on all homeless-related policy, planning and programmatic issues that impact the county.  She facilitated several county 

​

interdepartmental efforts to develop and implement more permanent housing and corresponding supportive services.  Boyce led several processes that have resulted in collaborative models of care that address homeless families, single adults and youth.

 

Boyce got her MSW in 1989 from Southern Connecticut State University and has been a licensed clinical social worker since 1993.  She spent the first 20 years of her career working with and for people living with HIV/AIDS and has spent the past 15 years working on systems and programs that serve people experiencing homelessness.
